While we prioritize your comfort and ability to learn, it’s important to note that the class consists of fellow HR professionals from Central Ohio. This provides a valuable networking opportunity, as you may have the chance to work with or for someone in the room. Keeping this in mind, we recommend maintaining a professional and respectful appearance that reflects your commitment to the HR field.
By striking a balance between comfort and professionalism, you can make the most of your learning experience while fostering positive connections with your peers.
To ensure you receive the maximum benefit from each class, we kindly request that you prioritize preparation by reading the materials in advance for our Certification Review Course. As a review course, the content covered will build upon the foundational knowledge provided in the materials.
By dedicating time to review the materials before each class, you can actively engage in discussions, ask relevant questions, and make the most of the learning opportunities. This proactive approach will enhance your understanding and retention of the course material, enabling you to optimize your overall learning experience.
We appreciate your commitment to your professional development and your willingness to invest the necessary effort in preparing for each class. Should you have any questions or require additional support regarding the course materials, please feel free to reach out to our team.
We look forward to your active participation in the Certification Review Course and assisting you in achieving your SHRM certification goals.
Upon your arrival in the classroom, we will provide you with a name tent and a comprehensive binder that contains copies of all the slides presented during the course. This binder serves as a valuable resource, allowing you to follow along with the material and refer back to it as needed.
Each page in the binder is designed with ample space for you to take notes, ensuring that you can capture key insights, personal reflections, and any additional information that enhances your learning experience. We encourage you to bring pens, pencils, highlighters, and post-it notes—whatever tools work best for your individual learning style and note-taking preferences.
In addition to the course content, your binder will also include our 8-night schedule, outlining the topics and agenda for each session. This schedule serves as a helpful guide to keep you informed and organized throughout the duration of the course.
Furthermore, the binder will include a student contact list, facilitating networking and collaboration opportunities with your fellow participants. Building connections within the HR community can be invaluable, and this list will enable you to stay in touch and support each other even beyond the course.
We believe that these resources will greatly enhance your learning journey and provide a valuable reference for future use. If you have any further questions or require additional information, please feel free to reach out to our team.
We look forward to providing you with the necessary tools and support to excel in the Certification Review Course.
