With a proud history that goes back to 1944, the Human Resource Association of Central Ohio (HRACO) (SHRM Chapter #14) is proud to serve HR professionals, small business owners, and managers throughout central Ohio. HRACO is a non-profit chartered chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
We are here to promote HR best practices, inform members of current trends and legislation in HR subject matter, and encourage responsible leadership through community outreach activities. Join us and share best practices, receive policy advice, attend professional development workshops, and attend monthly meetings to network with other HR professionals.
The Human Resources Association of Central Ohio will Lead, Educate and Inspire HR Excellence within the Central Ohio community.
Promote and Elevate Human Resources.
The governing body of the Association is a volunteer Board of Directors whose duties are outlined in the Association’s constitution. Board members are elected annually by the membership. Board-appointed officers assist the Board of Directors in conducting the Association’s business and programs. The Chapter Management Professional serves in a part-time capacity managing the Association’s day-to-day operations.
The HRACO Board of Directors welcomes committee members to assist with our various initiatives. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out and a member of our Board of Directors will follow up.
HRACO is proud to support various community initiatives in the Central Ohio community. Our support is empowered by the generous support of our members and community partners. HRACO is proud to offer our Student Scholarship program and be a presenting sponsor of the “Wonderful Workplaces for Young Professionals” in and around Columbus. We continue to leverage our resources for a meaningful impact that promotes the Human Resource profession.
Please consider making a donation to HRACo so we can continue our community outreach, programming initiatives, and student scholarship program.
