Events FAQ

All cancellations for invoiced events must be received 3 full business days before the event. For Tuesday monthly chapter meetings, cancellations must be received by the Tuesday (one week) prior to the meeting, before registration closes. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations after that date. If you choose to receive an invoice for an event, fail to cancel within the designated time frame, and do not attend the event, you will still be financially responsible for your reservation.

The Human Resources Association of Central Ohio will be taking photos and/or video at our events. By attending a HRACO event, you are giving us your permission to be in the photos and/or video. Photos and/or video may appear online and on social media.

In-person registration for our Tuesday Monthly Chapter meetings closes the Tuesday before the meeting, exactly one week prior. Virtual event registrations remain open until the event starts.

We do allow walk-ins to our chapter meetings. There is an additional $10 fee for walk-ins.

We are not able to guarantee a spot after our online registration has closed.

In the event you cannot attend, you may send a substitute in your place at no extra charge.

By attending HRACO events, you acknowledge and accept potential risks to your health or safety, assume personal responsibility, and waive any claims against HRACO and its affiliates arising from exposure or injury. You agree to indemnify and hold them harmless from related claims or liabilities. By registering for any HRACO event, you release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue HRACO and its affiliates from any liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action related to participation in HRACO events. Attending any HRACO event confirms that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms, which HRACO may update, and you are bound by the most current version.
