Established in 1944, the Human Resource Association of Central Ohio (HRACO) has a rich legacy of serving as a trusted resource for HR professionals, small business owners, and managers throughout Central Ohio. As a non-profit chartered chapter of the prestigious Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM Chapter #14), we are dedicated to advancing the HR profession and empowering our members with valuable resources and opportunities.
At HRACO, our goal is to promote HR best practices, equip our members with insights into current trends and legislation in the HR field, and foster responsible leadership through meaningful community outreach initiatives. By joining HRACO, you gain access to a vibrant community where you can share best practices, receive policy advice, participate in professional development workshops, and connect with fellow HR professionals during our engaging monthly meetings.
The Human Resources Association of Central Ohio will Lead, Educate and Inspire HR Excellence within the Central Ohio community.
Promote and Elevate Human Resources.
HRACO’s governance structure is built upon a foundation of volunteerism and strong leadership. The Association is led by a passionate Board of Directors who serve as the guiding force behind our initiatives and uphold the principles outlined in our constitution.
Our Board-appointed officers work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the smooth functioning of the Association’s business and programs. With their valuable expertise and commitment, they contribute to the overall success of HRACO and help deliver exceptional value to our members.
To support the day-to-day operations of HRACO, we have the invaluable support of our Chapter Management Professional. Working in a part-time capacity, this dedicated professional oversees the management of our Association, ensuring the seamless execution of our activities and initiatives.
At HRACO, we believe in the power of collaboration and shared leadership. Our volunteer Board of Directors, officers, and Chapter Management Professional work together harmoniously to drive the vision, goals, and mission of HRACO forward. Through their collective efforts, we are able to provide our members with the highest level of service, resources, and opportunities.
