2024 HRACO Student Scholarship Program

HRACO is proud to offer two annual scholarships, each valued at $1,000, to support the next generation of HR professionals. Eligible students are invited to apply by completing the online scholarship application, submitting a resume vitae, and providing two letters of recommendation. The College Relations committee will select 2-4 outstanding students as nominees, and the HRACO Board will make the final decision on the recipients.

Selection Criteria

Scholarships are awarded based on the following factors:

Academic performance
Demonstrated leadership and engagement
Experience and involvement in Human Resources-related activities
A clear passion for pursuing or advancing a career in Human Resources

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

Be a student member of HRACO
Be enrolled part-time or full-time in a Human Resources-related program
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their major and an overall GPA of 2.75
Be enrolled in a college or university located in Central Ohio or affiliated with a Central Ohio branch
Not be a past recipient of an HRACO scholarship

Applications for the 2024 HRACO Scholarship Program will be open from November 15 to November 30.
